PAULA BATEMAN

I have been practicing family law exclusively for more than 20 years. In addition to my law degree, I have two degrees in social work.

I have both level I and II training in collaborative law as well as training in mediation and arbitration. I am also qualified to do domestic violence screening. I served as a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer for 15 years.

I have extensive court experience both in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. I serve as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice in Brampton where I provide direction to parties who have started litigation in an effort to resolve the dispute in its early stages.
